Richard, 28, has always been goal oriented but in his own words “has never been all that good with money.” A real estate sales and marketing consultant, Richard admits that he often earns a good income, but often spends well too! Approximately four months ago Richard became a client of Wealthyfrog’s Brisbane city office. “I had reached a stage in my life where I realised that I needed to start building wealth,” explains Richard. “My sessions with Wealthyfrog have taught me how to become money minded.”
Since becoming a Wealthyfrog client Richard has learnt how to manage his cashflow and has developed budgeting strategies to smooth out the peaks and troughs of his commission-based income stream. This in turn has given him the confidence to realise a long-held goal and he has recently purchased his first investment property.
“There’s a great benefit in having an advisor – an unbiased mentor – who I can email or telephone and use as a sounding board,” he says. “I look around at people who are ten years or so older than me and who are sitting comfortably. That’s where I want to be.”

We joined Wealth Coach in 2004. At this time we were earning good salaries, but in order to be able to retire in comfort within 10 years, we knew it was necessary to make some wise investment choices. We had a minimal mortgage on our own home, but were unsure of the best strategies for investing. Wealth Coach gave us both the tools and the confidence to proceed with our first investment property. I have been meaning to write to you to compliment and congratulate you on your initiatives, through your company Wealthyfrog, to assist people in the organisation and management of their financial affairs. In the often frenetic world of business and looking after other people's needs, one can easily overlook the task of attending to the detail of personal financial strategies.
Through sharing knowledge of my present financial arrangements with you, I have been able to unlock my own habits and enlighten my perceptions of what is necessary in the management of my finances to lead firmly toward my goals. From your initial discussion with me it was clear that you quickly understood my direction and it was at that meeting you highlighted the possibility of my Bank packaging my various investment and personal loans. This has been done and an overall saving in interest and fees has been achieved!
Your first task was to design a financial structure for my situation and then assign my personal financial coach, a sort of professional trainer. The assistance you are able to give complements the tasks of taxation accountants and financial advisors whom we had previously engaged, and will continue to do so although, not necessarily the same ones.
To take charge of personal financial affairs in terms of structure and organization is made possible by your overall planning, advice and practical assistance through Workshops, Seminars and some five face to face sessions on my affairs.
You are, in a true sense, my Wealth Coach and I feel sure that people you assist will be real beneficiaries from your broad knowledge, dedication and strong interest. Since being at Wealthyfrog we have worked our personal coach very closely, setting goals and meeting them, filing in freedom forms and keeping them up to date and attending as many seminars as possible.
We recommend Wealthyfrog to anyone that wants to be financially secure, the initial cost maybe a bit daunting, especially if you have a family but if you follow the model that Wealthyfrog sets out all the knowledge and results are well worth it.
When we started we had no investments in place and we had just borrowed money to buy a new car. But not a problem to Heather and the team, without any major change to our lifestyle we worked at paying off the car. Then we looked at buying an investment property. And now we have just started purchasing shares in the share market. Heather doesn't know yet but our new goal is to buy two more investment properties within the year.
