Our financial goal is for healthy and wealthy retirement.  It is not going to happen without some clear thinking and sustainable strategies.  Richard proposed an idea to our personalise our situation - which distinguises the Wealthyfrog approach that truly catered for our needs and the level of risk that we could manage and the level of reward we ought to be aiming for. Concepts of yield, and risk and reward were customised.

One of the best things about Wealthyfrog is that each session is layered - and takes you to the next level in a sesnsible manner. Y ou leave each session with confidence in your ability to achieve a sense of financial security - not silly excitement [which often causes knee jerk reactions to problems and costly errors of judgement].

Prior to the session I had activated 99% of the 'to dos' from the previous session.   I was feeling settled [a feeing I had not had on a financial level for some time] and as a result I was wondering what next?  Even wondered if I needed any extra help - since I could see such a clear path ahead. But the 'rabbit' Richard pulled out of the hat - was inspiring, sensible, sustainable and showed the level of expertise you expect from a financial adviser but rarely see.

Our session has helped us to feel less stressed about our situation as we now have a to do list and a focus instead of going round in circles. We ar now moving forward towards our goal - and it's a great feeling!

We are still really enjoying the sessions, and we are definitely more goal oriented and planning our way forward, which we would not have done without the boost in the right direction from Wealthyfrog!

We really loved it. It's great to be held accountable and to have someone point out what's been missing in our wealth creation actions/strategy.

Just thought I’d give you a little bit of an update, as to what’s been happening… because at last I have something to report! I met with a mortgage broker this week to find out my borrowing capacity, which was a nice surprise, more than I thought; and now I have a few options to explore in this regard and at least have a guide of where I’m heading over the next 6 – 12 months. I received my first dividend payment from my shares! $12.75! Very exciting… this has made me want to speed up the process and get a bigger one next time. For January I have re-organised my accounts based around what I would like to be saving (not spending!!) and have set up transfers that puts some in my shares account each month, some in a savings account each month, some in a holiday account with my boyfriend & some more in my 2010 Christmas account…. If I can keep to this, I will have a great savings plan each month. We’ve been with Wealthy Frog for one year now and over that period we’ve managed to purchase 2 properties and create a property portfolio of over $750,000, cut our monthly overheads almost in half, and increase our Net Worth in excess of $100,000. People may have thought Richard and I crazy to be signing up with our ‘Wealth Coach’ Richard (another Richard - let’s call him Rick) Starr just weeks before the birth of our second baby. However we were in such a ‘state’ with our finances we knew something had to be done, and quickly. With a new family to consider, the challenges that faced us were becoming a little more ‘scary’ - now we had to start thinking about our children’s future - not just our own. We were in a situation where we had excess cash flow but couldn’t for the life of us work out where it was going and, if indeed, we had something tangible to show for it at the end of each financial year. Through the relatively painful but extremely important process of budgeting and reorganizing our bank accounts we have managed to get a hold on ‘where it all goes’! That fact that we were accountable for our actions (or inactions!) each session was a motivating factor for us (and Rick, thank you for your flexibility and accommodating us in the early stages with a newborn baby!!). The entire team is 100% professional and the online seminars are fantastic. We are proud of our accomplishments over the last 12 months - and we both believe that they are mostly due to the knowledge, support, interest and empowerment that Richard Starr and Wealthyfrog have given us. To give you an example of what we have achieved .... I undertook my first two successful and relatively smooth property settlements - both with development potential in the future. We have taken back control of our banking - we feel far more confident when dealing with the banks, and, by restructuring some of loans and accounts, we saved the equivalent of our Wealthfrog fee. We have set up our own Self Managed Super Fund where Richard now successfully manages our own share portfolio. We have set up a discretionary Trust which we are currently making plans for. We have changed Accountants to one that is far more suited to our needs. We have worked through a process of wealth creation, mapped out a plan for our future and we understand what we need to achieve each year in order to attain our goals. All this in one year! Well mate this year we did it (through your help) He now owns outright a four bedroom townhouse, brand new and a corolla. Mate what a joy it was to see this dream come true as he had nothing and lost what he did have through the huge flood of last year. On a personal note mate we are also planning our new home plans - Maria’s Queensland finally , and our 3 month (post kids) trip to Europe for June 2012. Mate planning was really worth it.
