Richard has significant experience in Financial Planning. He worked in the industry for years before joining the Wealthyfrog team. Richard joined Wealthyfrog because of his passion to give unbiased financial advice to the community. Richard is a proud advocator of product and commission free financial advice, he sees Wealthyfrog as the future of the industry.
His experience as a wealth coach has offered him satisfaction beyond his expectations and loves to be able to provide advice without agenda, and only in the interest of his clients. In the last three years he has been able to support and contribute to hundreds of people’s lives and loves to participate in their excitement in the process and the success they enjoy once they identify with their potential.
Richard served in the Navy for six years; where he achieved three Military Medals. He went on to study a degree with a major in Finance. Achieving a Distinction average and receiving a Dean’s award for his efforts, he has also has recently completed his Advanced Diploma in Financial Services.
Richard regularly invests directly into the share market and is actively leveraging his portfolio through Margin Lending and other investment derivatives, such as Exchange Traded Funds. He currently has 3 investment properties which are held in a Hybrid Trust and a hinterland retreat in his own name. He is a partner in Wealthyfrog and has investments in Superannuation and Managed Investment Schemes. He spends his ‘spare time’ mountain biking, sailing, training in Aikido and enjoying a glass of red.

Damian has proved that he can make a difference to people's financial lives bringing control and understanding to their finances and has made a huge impact with his many clients and acquaintances. Here is a brief outline of his investing history and education. He studied a Bachelor of Business at Queensland University of Technology (QUT) with a major in Business Communication.
He purchased his first property aged twenty four at Wurtulla, after saving diligently to raise a deposit. Currently his property portfolio consists of a number of investment properties on the Sunshine Coast. He has had extensive experience in all facets of investing and currently has money invested in residential property, direct shares and managed funds. He runs his own Self Managed Superannuation Fund and small business. He also trades options when time permits. Through his own personal investments he has dealt with a variety of lending facilities including property loans, personal loans, car leasing, flexible lines of credit, margin loans and credit cards.
Damian had worked in the IT industry for 7 years where he is an industry qualified project manager employed to manage large-scale IT installations in multi-million dollar infrastructure projects. Damian, along with his wife Stephanie, has built a successful cleaning business over the past 10 years. Based in Sydney, the business specializes in display apartments and offices for internationally recognised property developers. This experience helps Damian to understand the many challenges faced by business owners and the focus required to maximize investment opportunities through business and personal cash flow.
Throughout his career he has always taken time to invest in himself, attending all types of investment educational events to learn as much as he could. He has completed his Diploma of Financial Planning through Finsia and has changed career to share his knowlege with others. He is considered a successful investor and is a big believer in walking his talk. In his spare time he enjoys renovating his beach house at Sunshine Beach. You will also find him pursuing his other loves of triathalon, surfing, motorcycling and snowboarding. He also likes a good coffee.
