Richard Starr - Director & Head Coach

Richard joined Wealthyfrog because of his passion to give unbiased financial advice to the community. Richard is a proud advocator of product and commission free financial advice, he sees Wealthyfrog as the future of the industry. Richard worked in the finance industry for years before heading up the Wealthyfrog team.

An active investor himself and his experience coaching individuals has offered him satisfaction beyond his expectations and he loves providing practical financial advice without agenda – advice that’s only in the interest of his clients. In the last four years he has been able to support and contribute to hundreds of people’s lives and believes it’s a privilege to join them on their wealth journey and participate in the success they enjoy once they identify with their potential.

Richard served in the Navy for six years; where he achieved three Military Medals. He went on to study a degree with a major in Finance. Achieving a Distinction average and receiving a Dean’s award for his efforts, he also completed his Advanced Diploma in Financial Services.

Richard regularly invests directly into the share market and is actively leveraging his portfolio through Margin Lending and other investment derivatives, such as Exchange Traded Funds. He currently has 4 investment properties which are held in a Hybrid Trust and a hinterland retreat in his own name. He is a Business Partner in Wealthyfrog and has investments in Superannuation and Managed Investment Schemes.

He spends his ‘spare time’ mountain biking, sailing, training in Aikido and enjoying a glass of red.

Thank you for visiting our website.  I’m Claire Grlj and I’m a Director of Wealthyfrog.   My role is Business Development and Client Fulfillment.   Having benefitted from personal, financial and business coaching myself, I believe in the difference coaching can make in your life.

When the concept of Wealthyfrog was presented to me, it was like finding the holy grail of a financial services business - Wealthyfrog’s holistic approach to financial planning is the way of the future and everyone benefits from unbiased advice.

I am not a financial expert, but I do know how it feels to embark on a financial journey.   I started investing over 20 years ago and I have my personal experience (both good and bad) to draw upon.  With a background in administration and event management, and as a previous part owner of a mortgage broking office and property law practice, I combine my professional experience to apply what I’ve learned to Wealthyfrog operations so you can experience the best coaching journey possible. 

I’ve been married for 20 years, and have three beautiful children who deliver the twofold effect of inspiration and frustration.  Kids really do keep you in check and a lot of laughter therapy happens at our place.  Red wine and cooking of any kind are the second loves in my life.  I also enjoy contributing to my children’s Schools and local Parish Community.

Hello, my name is Di and I can’t wait to begin working with you and taking you on this incredible wealth building journey.

Coaching, mentoring and guiding you at this important time in your life is a privilege and is my passion – that and financial coaching!

I believe that as your Coach the best part is getting the opportunity to work with you knowing that at the end you get to benefit from sharing in all the knowledge I’ve acquired and applied to myself over the years.

Some describe my past as interesting. I have worked in many industries, farming, trucking, primary industry and budget management - then I answered the calling to join the Royal Australian Air Force.

Spanning 14 years, my career with the Air Force led me to assist, develop, implement and manage budgets and payroll for in excess of 6000 Defence personnel. Also serving time as a mentor and instructor in a finance capacity, I was lucky enough to deploy overseas where I was awarded four Military Medals and a commendation for outstanding leadership.

The bug to control my own financial wellbeing began when I started to earn an income. I have always saved and I was consistently looking for ways to make my money work for me. Over the years I’ve watched with excitement as my investments have grown and it’s this sense of achievement and financial freedom that I want to inspire you to experience too.

I’m looking forward to meeting you personally and to getting started!

PS: I am also a wife and mother who enjoys seeing my family happy, biking together (I love sport) and then (if I can) curl up at the end of the day with a good book or spending time with friends sharing a nice red or champagne with a good cheese platter. The community is also very important to me and I donate a lot of time working with my children’s school, my daughter’s Girl Guide Group and my son’s football team.
